Update
Today I'm wearing large bright white rain boots, and it's not raining. My host mother saw my socks yesterday(they were brown with mud), and freaked out. She said I had to wear rain boots today, and since I didn't have any I'd borrow hers. So, I'm wearing bright white rain boots, and the sun is shining and there is no forecast of rain for today.
