Three Jewish Guys, An American, A Canadian, and Two Norwegians Are Waiting In Line. . .

Does it sound like the beginning to a really bad joke? Last night I went to the Ben Harper concert. My friend Ben from Canada really likes them, so a group of us exchange students decided to go. Ben thought it would be best if we all went early since there were no seats. The concert was held in a Radisson Hotel. They had a huge conference centre, and a concert hall. So, once we get to the hotel we were walking into the lobby and ran into two guys. They looked at us and asked, in English, if we were going to see Ben Harper. They then told us where to go and to say ‘hi’ to Jeff and sit behind him. We went where they said and there was a guy sitting on the floor in front of some doors, and his name was Jeff, so we sat behind him. We started talking with him and he was from New Jersey, and he had come here with his two friends, the ones we met in the lobby, and they are all medical students from the U.S. attending medical school in Israel. Soon his friends came back with food and we began speaking with them. One of the guys had seen Ben Harper in concert six times and had met him twice. We found this very impressive and decided to hang around with these guys for the rest of the night. Not to long after the rest of the Israeli medical students sat down to guys sat down right beside them. Now we were all camped out in a little circle. After them the rest of the exchange students. As I was commenting about us being like the UN camped on the floor, I mentioned to the right and these are our Danish representatives, they looked at me and corrected me. They were from Norway. They had seen Ben Harper play in Norway two days ago and flew down just for the concert this weekend. They got in last night and were leaving the tomorrow. We stuck with the Israeli medical students for the rest of the night. They seemed to know what they were talking about and made sure we were in the front of line and told us what to do as soon as the opened the doors. Once they let us into the next section we were waiting in another line once again with the medical students. We had lost the Norwegians somewhere along the way. As soon as the opened the doors to the concert hall we ran in and were standing right up against the metal gate that was the front. We were maybe two feet away from the stage and the closest people in the entire concert. The concert was amazing!! The guy who had seen him six times before said this concert was the absolute best show he’s ever seen. Ben Harper and his band were absolutely fantastic! After the show Ben(Canada) and I went with the medical students around the building to the back entrance where we hoped we’d be able to see Ben Harper and his band come out. Not to long after we got back there the Norwegians showed up again. The seven of us talked for over an hour while we were waiting for them to show up. One by one the band member came out and signed my ticket, and talked to us. The last person to come out was Ben Harper, and he sat there and talked to us for over ten minutes. He asked us where we were from, what we were doing here, about whether the concert was to long, and then we got to ask him a bunch of questions. After he had gone home the Norwegian guys offered to pay for a cab for Ben(Canada) and I to the train station since we were planning on walking. We said good-bye and thanked the Israeli Medical Students, and then went with the Norwegians. After we left them we took a train back to Helsingør and arrived at the house four hours ago. Over all it was just an amazing night and an awesome concert!
